Dr. Faten Al-Attar is widely experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Professional with more than 20 years of experience. A Ph.D. holder in the Formulation and Implementation of Sustainable Development Strategies from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Also holds a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Impact Assessment & Waste Management from the the same University and a bachelor degree in Chemistry (Major) and Industrial Management (Minor) from Kuwait University. She obtained her diploma in Oil& Gas safety (NEBOSH), Accident Investigation (NEBOSH) and Process Safety Management (PSM) (OSHA).
Dr. Faten is the first Kuwaiti registered in UK as an Associate Environmental Assessor with IEMA (Institute for Environmental Management and Auditing). She is certified from British Standards Institute (BSI) both the Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor Training for Environmental Management Systems. she is also Certified LEED Green Building (GA ) and GSAS (Global Sustainability Assessment System- Qatar) (GSAS- D&B CGP OP CGP). Dr. Al- Attar is also ARCA (UK) Trained Asbestos Risk Assessment Manager & Supervisor.
